Pioneering food company Wessanen UK – the owner of Clipper Teas, Kallo, Mrs Crimble’s and Whole Earth – has recruited Cristina Ramsay as its new Technical & CSR Director as the company looks to bolster its sustainability credentials.
Efficient in safety compliance and business leadership, Cristina will be primarily responsible for supplier assurance and regulating the food safety, legality and quality of Wessanen UK’s products. A key strategic focus will be directly supporting Wessanen UK’s commitment to sustainable and ethical practices in line with the wider company vision, Connecting to Nature.
Cristina Ramsay brings over 20 years’ industry experience to this senior role, following a long-established career as senior technical account manager at Allied Bakeries where she was responsible for improving and maintaining standards across the customer brand portfolio.
Prior to this, Ramsay also held roles with McCormick’s and the Leatherhead Food Research Association.
