Luxury chocolatier, Lily O’Brien’s, has unveiled its NEW and exclusive collection for Christmas 2023 to bring indulgence to gift-giving moments over the festive period.

The Christmas Desserts Collection will launch into major multiples Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, Tesco, and Asda from early October 2023, RRP £12 with £9 promotions across selected stores.

The 24-piece collection features nine different flavours, including classic favourites from Lily O’Brien’s signature Desserts Collection, plus four new limited-edition flavours for the season:

- Spiced Latte blends double roasted arabica coffee beans with warming spices and indulgent white chocolate.

- Dark Orange encases a zesty splash of orange inside gooey ganache, finished with flourishes of orange pieces.

- Triple Chocolate Shot filled with rich dark chocolate ganache topped with creamy caramel and a sprinkle of white chocolate flakes.

- Berry Eton Mess is blended with crisp meringue pieces and white chocolate in a milk chocolate shell.

The new assortment will bolster Lily O’Brien’s classic Desserts Collection, the third best-selling in-laid box on the market and now a major gifting chocolate for the key festive season.

Record sales of our Desserts Collection has been driving growth for our brand, and category share of in-laid boxed chocolates. We wanted to bring exciting and indulgent innovation to the aisle with specially crafted flavours which are on-trend for the holidays. Marketing Director Karen Crawford
This collection continues to deliver on the value equation for shoppers. It has an expensive look, feel and luxurious taste – perfect as a statement gift for the special people in your life – without the premium price tag.

The new SKU from Lily O’Brien’s – now a £15m brand1 - is set to add around £2M to the in -laid boxed category over the Christmas season.

The launch is backed by a £1m brand marketing campaign ‘For the ones you really know’, rolling out across all consumer touch points for the Christmas period including shopper marketing, media, PR and digital.

About Lily O’Brien’s

Lily O'Brien's Chocolates started life as the brainchild of Mary Ann O'Brien who took her passion for chocolate on a journey of discovery, honing her chocolate-making skills among world class chefs and chocolatiers in both South Africa and Europe before starting her own mini enterprise from her Co. Kildare kitchen in 1992. With little more than two saucepans, a wooden spoon and her then toddler, Lily, acting as production manager Mary Ann began to create high quality chocolate recipes for friends and family.

Named after her daughter Lily, Lily O'Brien's chocolates soon established itself as one of Ireland's best-loved chocolatiers. The passion for chocolate that first inspired Mary Ann O'Brien is still present in every aspect of the business and remains at the very core of what Lily O'Brien's do.

Based in the heart of Co. Kildare, Ireland, the team at Lily O’Brien’s continue to develop mouth-watering chocolate creations using the finest quality ingredients, which are then shipped to many corners of the globe.
